DaKor helps Indianapolis by filling the gap between people who need help and the resources that already exist but are often hard to access.

Many families don’t struggle because help doesn’t exist—they struggle because they don’t know where to start. DaKor becomes that starting point.

No—DaKor is not only for women and children.

Women and children are a major focus because they are often the most impacted by instability, trauma, and lack of support, but DaKor is ultimately for families and individuals who need direction, healing, and resources.

Most organizations focus on one area—jobs, counseling, or education. DaKor connects all of it. It brings together mental wellness support, resource navigation, education, job direction, and community healing under one space.

What also sets it apart is that it’s not distant or corporate. It’s personal. It comes from real life, real struggle, and real healing—so it speaks to people in a way that feels human, not institutional.
